Spire Cheshire Hospital’s Catering team has been awarded the prestigious ‘Gold’ CAP (Continuous Advancement Programme) award following the latest unannounced visit.
The CAP Award programme is designed to assess the standards for food preparation, service delivery and best practice. The aim of the live assessment is to experience the service in real time that is being received by patients, staff, visitors and consultants.
Jill Crewe, Hotel Services Manager, commented, “This achievement showcases the commitment our Catering team have towards ensuring that all nutritional and dietary needs are met throughout the hospital, whilst meeting the highest standards for patient experience. The CAP award recognises the hard work that goes into providing a consistently excellent level of service over the course of the year.”
The CAP Inspector said, “Well done to all involved, the Catering team and at the Spire Cheshire Hospital. The team and the Hospital should be commended on their achievement and their ambitions for patient well-being. Congratulations to the Catering team!"
