Bon Secours Hospital in Dublin Notches up CAP Gold for Catering

August 23, 2019

How to leave a pleasant taste in everyone’s mouth? Progress your catering service to CAP Gold level to signify its excellence. That’s what the Bon Secours Hospital in Dublin has done, landing a Gold award having passed a stringent independent CAP assessment in July.

The hospital clearly demonstrated its continuous advancement in catering provision as part of the CAP programme, moving from silver level in 2018 to CAP Gold this year. Mike Tonery, Hospital Manager, says: “The enthusiasm and industrialism of the catering team is a constant delight and their recognition at Gold level is richly deserved.”

Working hard to progress the CAP Action Plan, the catering team received tremendous feedback from patients and praise from other hospital departments. “You know it’s going to be a good visit when the whole team is so keen to show you their achievements over the last 12 months. It did not disappoint,” says CAP Chief Assessor, Ian Jackson.
