Following on from its hat-trick housekeeping CAP Gold award last year, the Bon Secours Hospital in Dublin has now added a fourth to that impressive count; an accolade that acknowledges the continuing excellence in housekeeping and cleaning.
The Bon Secours team received its unannounced inspection visit from the CAP assessment team in October, during which the positive approach and focus of the housekeeping and cleaning staff were noted.
Hospital Manager Mike Tonery comments: “It is an excellent outcome for the team and reflective of the esteem in which the whole hospital holds the housekeeping department.”
Ian Jackson, CAP Chief Assessor, commended “the drive and ambition” of the team, pointing out that the service is a credit not only to the hospital but to the entire housekeeping industry.
The cleaning services at the Dublin hospital are provided by ISS Ireland Ltd, an independent external contractor.
